Interview with Dilshod Murodulaev from Uzbekistan, who lives in Bulgaria.

We introduce you to Dilshod - a smiling young man from Uzbekistan who is part of the team at the "Hadjidraganov's Houses" restaurant. Besides being a true master in his profession, Dilshod brings with him the power of positive thinking.
Could you introduce yourself?
My name is Murodulaev, Dilshod, and I am from Uzbekistan. I was born in 1990, and I am currently 34 years old.
Why did you choose to come to Bulgaria and how long have you been here?
I was told that people in Bulgaria are kind and there is decent work, so I chose to come here. I have been working in Bulgaria for more than half a year now, and I can say that I really like both the country and the way of life.
Did you come to Bulgaria alone?
Yes, I came alone. At first, I didn’t have any friends and didn’t know anyone here, but over time I adapted and met new people.
Do you like Bulgaria and how long do you plan to stay?
I really like Bulgaria. I feel very good both at work and in the country, and that’s why I want to stay here for at least 5-6 more years at this restaurant.

How do you feel at your workplace?
I feel great! Over time, I’ve gotten closer to my colleagues, and now we work in harmony. The work atmosphere is pleasant, and I am happy with the environment in which I am developing.
Can you tell us more about the procedure for submitting documents in Uzbekistan before arriving in Bulgaria?
The process is long and requires time, but I believe that in the future, things will become easier and faster. More and more people from Uzbekistan want to work in Europe, and I hope that over time the process will speed up.
What was the most difficult thing when you arrived in Bulgaria?
At first, I was nervous because everything was new and unfamiliar. But over time, I realized that there was nothing to worry about. Honestly, I didn’t face any big difficulties. Perhaps some of my fellow countrymen encountered problems, but I didn’t experience any.
If you could speak to Uzbeks who want to come to Bulgaria, what would you say to them?
I would tell them that there are many job opportunities in Bulgaria. If they are good people, they will surely find decent work.
What do you think about the accommodation you live in?
It’s very nice! I have everything I need to live comfortably. It is fully furnished and equipped, everything is perfect.
Would you recommend Bulgaria as a place to work to other fellow Uzbeks?
Yes, of course!
